Convention Overview

The 2025 NJCL International Online Convention invites high school students from across the globe to celebrate and explore the ancient world through a weekend of academic challenges, cultural expression, and international collaboration. Officially recognized by the National Junior Classical League, this convention offers a uniquely global and inclusive experience inspired by the spirit of NJCL traditions—reimagined for the 21st century.

Over two days, students will compete in academic tests, Certamen (Latin quiz bowl), art and creative writing contests, spoken word performances, escape room challenges, and more. Live workshops and student-led panels will foster deep engagement with classical themes from diverse perspectives, while social events and collaborative games will bring students together across time zones and borders.
